How Pregnancy Affects Postpartum

Preparing for the Phenomena of Postpartum Program

Pregnancy is a rite of passage that has many layers and could be an entire training on it's own. The content of this blog entry will discuss using the time in pregnancy to prepare for birth. One of the most important variables in ending up with a birth experience that you are happy with is determining the right care provider for you. Listen to more about this below.

For this section please:

-Watch the below video. Take note of anything that has occurred or not occurred in your pregnancy thus far that you would like to process or discuss further in a clarity coaching call. Journaling about your pregnancy experience would also beneficial.

-Look over the beautiful images from Spirit Y Sol. You can find more of their work here:

-Contact me and let me know you are ready to receive the Childbirth Prep Worksheet that was created by my Doula trainer, Angela Gallo. It breaks down all of the interventions that you could be presented with during birth and prompts you to do some research about them. This process will empower you to know all the options so you can determine what you wish for your birth. At the end of the document is the birth plan portion. We will talk more about that in the next section.

-Listen more about how to determine the right care provider for you at the link below.

Remember: If taking in this information becomes uncomfortable for you it is important to shift and move these feelings. Feel them, identify what you need to learn from those feelings, then take action to move those feelings. This could look like free writing in your journal about your feelings, moving your body or expressing your feelings verbally. If you can't get unstuck, reach out to me and we will do a clarity coaching call.

With love,
